Oops - They Forgot The Parking !
The Miami Performing Arts Center is nearing completion - with an October Grand Opening. There’s only one problem - no parking facilities . The story is in today’s Herald. Seriously- it is hard to imagine the upscale clientele - in furs and black tie ( OK maybe here in Miami - our best jeans ) slogging through the streets in that area . It’s certainly a big opportunity waiting - due to the planner’s shortsightedness.
How could they have possibly overlooked this by pure accident? Is everyone sure there isn’t something else in the mix? Someone’s sister or brother on a construction company list somewhere?
Nah! Ya see, who needs parking when you can take a cab from your not-hurricane-proof-overpriced-glass-palace-in-the-sky?
